Gonstead Method

The Gonstead Method is a "Hands-On" Chiropractic care focusing on being as specific as possible with the examination and treatment of each patient. Simply put, we are good listeners, pay attention to detail, and have a great success rate in getting people better quickly.

By using our hands as adjusting tools, we are better able to sense the relaxation of each patient and to control the direction and force of the adjustment needed for each individual patient. No mechanical clicking or traction device can match the sensitivity of feel or timing of an applied force from a skilled chiropractor's hands. You will feel the difference.

Our ultimate goal is to deliver specific adjustments that achieve the most benefit for each patient. This is case specific to each patient. We do NOT treat every patient with the same generic manipulative procedure of twisting the neck and lower back from both the right and the left and the middle back from top to bottom. That type of care is good for TV acting, not for real patients.

The Hands-On System of Chiropractic that we utilize has hundreds of years of combined clinical experience of doctors around the world and has been tried and tested. We do what works and do not continually chase new "gimmicks" in patient care. Furthermore, if a need for additional evaluation is found necessary, we will refer the patient to the appropriate doctor or therapist to insure that the needs of each patient are properly met.
